Common questions.
Do you take insurance?
I'm private pay and don't bill insurance directly. I can provide a superbill after each session that you're welcome to submit to your insurance for out-of-network reimbursement — many plans reimburse a portion of the fee. Sessions are $150 for individuals and $175 for couples (55 minutes). Payment is accepted via major cards, HSA/FSA, cash, PayPal, Venmo, and Zelle.
Is there a free consultation?
Yes. I offer a free 15-minute consultation by phone so we can talk through what's going on and see if I'm the right fit before scheduling a full session.
Do you offer online sessions?
Yes. I'm Houston-based, and I see clients online across Texas and Colorado as well as in person in Houston. I'm licensed in both states.
What is EMDR?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a structured, research-backed therapy for trauma. It helps the brain reprocess painful memories so they lose their grip — without requiring you to talk through every detail.
Is counseling always Christian or faith-based?
No. I offer Christian counseling for clients who want their faith integrated into the work, but I also see clients who don't. We'll talk about what fits for you.
Do you do couples counseling?
Yes. Alongside individual therapy for adults, I see couples. Couples sessions are $175 for 55 minutes (individual sessions are $150).
How do I get started?
Send a message through the contact page or call directly. I'll follow up to schedule an initial session — no commitment, no pressure.
